Communications was established in 1972.
Starting as a component manufacturer, and
from that humble beginning, they have
expanded to be one of the major manufacturers
of two-way transceivers worldwide. With the
experience gained over 25 years, today they
are proud to be the leading manufacturer in
wireless radio communication internationally.
Their major markets consists of the United
States and the European countries.
With their
continuous efforts in striving for
excellence, Ranger has become the major OEM
home brand manufacturer. With the proven
quality, performance and reliability, of
their products, they manufacture their own
brand name Ranger (RCI) and Texas
Ranger (TR) to be of the highest
standards. This product line has set a
standard for their competitors.
PRODUCTS
Ranger has
grown to where they now have three modern
manufacturing facilities. These are situated in
Melaka, Malaysia; Shanghai, China; with their
headquarters in Shulin, Taiwan. All factory locations
are equipped with the latest state-of-the-art
manufacturing equipment such as SMD machineries and
sophisticated automatic in-line testing equipment
(ATE).
They manufacture a wide range of products which
includes Amateur Band Radio, Citizen Band Radio,
Commercial 2-Way Communications, Marine Radio, and
Rural Telephones. The frequency range covers the HF,
VHF, and UHF frequency bands. Through the years,
Ranger has manufactured a wide range of products for
many well known and trusted names in the marine,
consumer and commercial radio business's. Names such
as West Marine, Ray Jefferson, Cobra, Neutec
Communications and others, in addition to products
under the Ranger name itself.
And, as they are ever watchful to the changing needs
of their valued customers in the international
markets, Ranger has set up a Research and Development
Department in each of their plants. From these
facilities comes the ideas that are turned into
products that you use today and will use in the
future.

RCI USA
PROFILE
Ranger
Communications, Inc. (RCI) was established in San
Diego, California, during 1986 for the purpose of
importing and distributing the Ranger line of
amateur, CB and professional products for the Ranger
factories. In January 2000, RCI established a
separate sales department in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Directed and maintained by the previous sales manager
of Wilson Antenna, along with the previous friendly
and courteous sales staff that you dealt with, this
addition has proven to be the right choice. The
changes implemented and new marketing efforts has
resulted in greater availability and easier
accessibility of the Ranger products. In June of
2000, Ranger moved to newer headquarters in National
City, California, not far from the original location.
Ranger products offer a lot of value for the money,
are reliable and reflect 27 years in the
manufacturing business. RCI USA's goal is to provide
a place where customers can come for technical
support, parts or service and be treated courteously
and fairly.
